not much going on

Life has been somewhat dull as of late... still doing the daily ritual of looking for jobs, and getting nothing.

Things that have been exciting: I spent the past weekend helping out with worship and dish-crewing at lakeside bible camp.

Teen One

I'm going up to the Mens Retreat this upcoming weekend.. 3 straight weekends up at camp. Good Stuff. Also, I applied to be a Program Assistant on Summer Staff. Sweet.

late night with jimmy fallon

Jimmy Fallon's first ever show was last night... was it perfect? No. But it was a solid first show. He looked nervous (who wouldn't), there wasn't a lot of fluidity between jokes (that takes time to develop)... but I see a lot of potential. I love his graphics set, his set, the intro, and of course The Roots. I don't think DeNiro was exactly... a good choice for first guest, but its over now.

I'm optimistic to see where this goes. People need to understand that Fallon isn't Conan, isn't Letterman... isn't Carson. He'll make it his own, he'll probably have a ton of failed bits and awkward moments his first year or so... but so did Conan when he started, and now Conan is great. So give Mr. Fallon some time.
